We perform manual and automated rotary welding operations for the electronic and energy sector.

At Resolute we pride ourselves on our welding ability and knowledge of the materials being joined and have developed orbital welding machines in house to enable us to complete complex procedures on spherical parts and assemblies in the vertical or horizontal plane.

We can work with any type of material and specialise in stainless steel and aluminium.

Our comprehensive welding suite includes the use of:

The Detail

The plasma welding process has been used to great effect on the welding lathe when tackling large repetitive runs by being able to complete fast cycle times and even reducing the amount of multiple passes needed for heavy gauge parts by utilising a keyhole effect.

Gas flux fillet brazing means we can join materials and tubular structures without over stressing and compromising the mechanical integrity of the material. This process also provides a very strong and resilient joint without being too hard and brittle, an attribute which is needed in the construction of racing chassis and bike frames for example, where the joints are exposed to high, repeated loading.

We work closely with other CNC shops to develop parts which were once too expensive to produce as solid components and discuss the possibilities and methods of joining. We have found this to be of great interest to many companies looking to enhance their capabilities.

We also have the ability of electro chemical weld cleaning on stainless steel welded assemblies and can also apply permanent etch marking for material heat numbers, company logos or associated information, onto stainless parts prior to packaging and shipping.
